Garrett Hoff Garret Hoff is the founding Director of the Autism Tree Project Foundation (ATPF) Autism Advance Program, where he volunteers his time to help Autistic individuals advance in the workforce whether that be through academic or professional pursuits. He graduated summa cum laude from George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Communication in May of 2021 and currently works in the Conflicts Department of AmLaw top 100 Law firm. He is planning on going to law school this fall and has already received over $650,000 worth of scholarship offers. Garrett was diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum at the age of 2 years and 9 months and received substantial hours of speech, music and occupational therapy for much of his childhood. In this episode you will hear from fellow moms who are successfully navigating life as Autism parents. Learn tips that you can implement right away! Listen to our podcast through iTunes or your favorite player! Alondra Galvan, IEP Advocate Alondra is a mother to a wonderful, six-year old autistic boy and a passionate IEP Advocate. She started her own family Autism journey with her son when he was just 18 months old. The process of a diagnosis was long and tiring, but thankfully Alondra’s love for reading and researching helped her to prepare for the long road ahead of them. Along the way, Alondra became a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) and has now transitioned to IEP advocacy. Helping other parents understand the IEP process is one of Alondra's greatest joys. Kristine Domingo, IEP Advocate A San Diego native, Kristine has always strived to find ways to make effective positive change within her surrounding community. Whether it be in advocacy, volunteer work, or education, she truly believes that collaboration is the key to meaningful and impactful experiences. A former arts educator, she knew at a young age that she wanted to help children and families thrive within their own lives. Kristine strives to keep current with her advocacy development and is a member of the Counsel for Parent Attorneys & Advocates (COPAA). She is also working toward the 2022 Special Education Law & Advocacy Series (SELAS) certification. In her free time, Kristine enjoys music, dance, creating macrame/fiber art, and spending time with her family. Crystal Sanford, M.Ed..
